As it was presented at the 2023 IIHF Annual Congress in Tampere, the Johan Bollue Award application is now available online. The deadline for submitting the application is July 10, 2023.
 
Member National Associations may apply as a person or a group who have made a difference in youth ice hockey growth and development.
 
The award criteria are :
 
The person has  

• distinguished her/himself through her/his dedication, vision and love of the game
• made an outstanding contribution to the youth ice hockey development and/or lasting contributions to the long-term growth and success of ice hockey
• identified new and innovative ways to reach out to new players and introduce kids to the sport (i.e., recruitment and promotion via social media)
• shown selflessness by going out and helping others with ice hockey development, working tirelessly to pass on knowledge & experience, and share ideas…all for the growth of the game
• demonstrated a “make it happen” & “no excuses” attitude
