At the beginning of February, the IIHF, for the first time ever, reached out to all Member National Associations (MNAs), among other stakeholders, asking for their input for the development of the first global strategy for Ice Hockey. All MNAs – both full and associated – were sent an online, anonymous survey to complete.

With only one week to go for MNAs to respond to the survey, President Luc Tardif is inspired by the responses so far, saying: “Getting input from all of the IIHF members and external stakeholders is extremely important for the development of our new strategy. We are watching the response rate carefully and are encouraged to see so many people actively participating in the survey. I would like to sincerely thank every MNA and stakeholder that has already replied, and I have no doubt that because our ice hockey community cares deeply about the future of Ice Hockey, we will get responses from them all by the time the survey closes next week.””

The survey was sent to each IIHF MNA with the President or Secretary General tasked with completing it. The survey is in English, but comments can be made in any language. The survey closes on 28 February 2022.
