The Women’s Olympic Pre-Qualification Round 1 Group J in Reykjavik, Iceland has been cancelled and will not be played due to reasons related to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The tournament was planned for 26-29 August 2021. However, Bulgaria has withdrawn its team and also other teams addressed concerns with the deteriorating Covid-19 situation in Iceland and the quarantine rules for the participants that would not make it possible for them to take part in the event.

Originally Iceland, Hong Kong (China), Bulgaria and Lithuania were seeded in the first round.
