CHL draw sets brackets

The Champions Hockey League Draw has produced the 16 matchups for the Round of 32 which will open the 2020/21 Champions Hockey League season.
 
The Champions Hockey League Draw is complete, and all teams involved now know who they will be facing in the Round of 32, as well as their potential path to the Final. The first games in the Round of 32 are scheduled for Tuesday 6 and Wednesday 7 October, while the return games will take place one week later on Tuesday 13 and Wednesday 14 October.

The CHL will determine the schedule based on factors such as arena availability and broadcasting obligations. However, teams from Pot 2 shall play their home game first, where possible. Once the schedule is known it will be made available on the CHL’s official website.
 
2020/21 Playing format
 
In the 2020/21 Champions Hockey League season, a total of 61 games will be played over the course of nine game days between October and February. The season will start with an immediate knockout Round of 32, which will comprise of a two-game, home and away, aggregate-scoring series up to the Semi-Finals. The season will culminate on 9 February 2021 with the ultimate one-game Final to determine the European club champions.
