We can’t bring the 2020 IIHF Ice Hockey Women’s World Championship to you due to the coronavirus pandemic – but we can bring some of the players to you in Facebook live chats!
Swiss goaltender Andrea Brandli made the start on Wednesday and now we go into the weekend with two more Women’s Worlds players.
On Friday long-time Finnish national team goaltender Noora Raty will be our guest and will have plenty to tell from her experience with the national team and playing her club hockey on three continents – most recently with the KRS Vanke Rays in the Russian Women’s Hockey League – and trying it in men’s hockey in Finland. She will join us on our Facebook page at 20:00 Finnish time (19:00 in Central Europe, 1pm ET in North America). You will be able to ask her questions live in the comments section.
On Saturday German national team captain Julia Zorn will have a Facebook live session. We have featured Zorn recently among our historic stories as she started playing in IIHF competitions as a junior as a goaltender but then became a forward and still impresses in her new position. She will join us at 17:00 Central European Time (11am ET in North America).
