The IIHF Championship Disciplinary Panel for the 2025 IIHF Ice Hockey U20 World Championship Division II Group A has issued a one-game suspension to Lithuania’s Deimantas Sulinskas (#11) for continuing to fight after being ordered by a linesperson to stop during an altercation.
The incident occurred at 49:15 of the third period in Game #5 between Lithuania and Great Britain on 7 January. It involved a violation of IIHF Official Playing Rule 59 (Fighting), and accordingly, the Disciplinary Panel has jurisdiction over the matter. Sulinskas is suspended for Game #8 between Lithuania and Romania on 9 January.
