The IIHF Championship Disciplinary Panel for the 2025 IIHF Ice Hockey U20 World Championship Division II Group A has issued a one-game suspension to Croatia’s Borna Filipovic (#23) for deliberately leading with his head toward an opponent in an altercation.
The incident occurred in Game #3 between Great Britain and Croatia on 6 January. It involved a violation of IIHF Official Playing Rule 59 (Head-Butting), and accordingly, the Disciplinary Panel has jurisdiction over the matter. Filipovic is suspended for Game #6 between Croatia and China on 7 January.
