Objective: Improves coordination, balance and agility
Points of emphasis:
Points of emphasis:
- Start in hockey stance
- Transfer whole weight and stand on one leg only, lift the other leg off the ice
- Bend the knee of the leg that stayed on ice
- Lower the body into jump position and jump straight up
- Keep chest and head up
- Maintain the hold of the stick
- Progression – add lateral movement to the hop
