Jyske Bank Boxen

The Jyske Bank Boxen multi-arena was built in 2010 and was the first of such a kind in Herning. The arena opened that year with a spectacular and sold-out Lady Gaga concert. 

The arena was home to the 2018 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships with a capacity just over 10.500 spectators. With this in mind, Herning is undoubtedly excited to see the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship returning in May 2025.  

The Jyske Bank Boxen Arena has hosted numerous international artists, shows and championships during its lifetime and has quickly become one of the most popular venues in Denmark. The arena is built for multi-purposes and has been used for multiple sports events from handball to swimming, tennis, horse riding, volleyball and now for the second time, ice hockey. 

Located just ten minutes from the city center, the venue encapsulates a natural part of the atmosphere and remains close to the  city. You can easily walk the distances or catch public transport and shuttle busses.
