In Stockholm, Sweden, the following teams will compete in the 2025 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship starting May 9th, 2025: Austria, Canada, Finland, France, Latvia, Slovakia, Sweden, and Slovenia. Of the 64 games in the tournament, 34 – including the gold medal game – will be held in Stockholm.

Regarded as one of the world’s most beautiful cities, Stockholm spreads across fourteen islands, right at the heart where freshwater meets the sea. With eight centuries of history, this is a city rich in culture. The Swedes are extremely proud of their national team and will be sure to welcome you with open arms. Join the festivities in and around the spectacular spherical Stockholm Globe Arena in May 2025.

Feel the pulse

Our vision is to let everyone experience the pulse of sold-out arenas and world-class hockey games. It all starts in the arena – with the intensity on the ice, the cheering crowd, the sweat of the players, and the rhythmic beat of the game. But the pulse doesn’t stop there.

We want the pulse to radiate beyond the arena, into the Official Fan Zone, through downtown where people enjoy the spring weather, and spread throughout the cities, countries, and the Nordic region.
