The 2024 IIHF Championship Disciplinary Panel for the 2024 IIHF Ice Hockey U20 World Championship Division II Group A has issued a one game suspension to Team Great Britain's Cameron Hamill for tripping Team China's LI Yilong. 

The incident occurred at 18:11 during the 1st period of game number 9 between Great Britain and China. 

The Championship Disciplinary Panel determined that because the Player widens his stance immediately before making contact with Chinese player LI Yilong, and because the Player’s contact results in LI Yilong falling backwards to the ice, the Player is deemed to have violated Official Playing Rule 58 (Tripping).
