Scandinavium
Scandinavium is a multi-purpose arena located right in the centre of Gothenburg. The arena was inaugurated in 1971 and since then has hosted thousands of events. Among other things, 18 World Championships have been arranged here, including the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in 1981 and 2002.
Scandinavium is also the home arena for the Gothenburg team Frolunda Hockey Club a five-time Swedish champion and four-time Champions Hockey League winner.

Audience record sport: Sweden vs. Czechoslovakia, 1971, 13,963 spectators
Audience capacity today: 14,000 spectators at music events and 12,000 spectators at sporting events.
