Metro Areena, Espoo

Metro Areena in Espoo is a multi-purpose sports and entertainment arena and the home arena of the Mestis (1st division) team Kiekko-Espoo.

Metro Areena hosted the IIHF Women's World Championship in 2019 and 1999 and is the home base of the Finnish national basketball team.

The spectator capacity of Metro Areena is 6982.

Metro Areena is located in Tapiola Sports Park. In addition to bus, Areena can be easily reached from the center of Helsinki by metro (metros going to Kivenlahti). The nearest stop, Urheilupuisto, is located about 500 meters walk from the Areena.
