After evaluation by the IIHF and confirmation by the participating teams, the venue for the 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey Women’s World Championship Division III Group B in Israel has changed from Metula to Tnuvot.

Located about a 40-minute drive from Tel Aviv and its international airport, and a 15-minute drive from the city of Netanya, the OneIce Arena in the Central Israel village of Tnuvot is the newest full-size ice rink in Israel. It was opened in 2018, includes two ice sheets including a full-size one with a capacity for 1,500 spectators. It will be the first IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship event in the country since the ‘90s.

The tournament with Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Israel will be held from 26 to 31 March 2023 with a game schedule to be established soon.

All three teams joined the IIHF Ice Hockey Women’s World Championship program in 2022. For 2023, 43 women’s national teams are entered in the program.
