Volunteers are still needed for the 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 World Championship, which will be taking place in Basel and Porrentruy from 20 to 30 April 2023. It’s a chance to get a unique look behind the scenes at a major sporting event.
As well as showcasing junior ice hockey at its very best, the U18 World Championship provides a variety of great opportunities for volunteers. Their dedication and their treatment of guests, fans, officials and journalists are crucial to how the World Championship is perceived by the public. If you decide to serve as a volunteer in Basel or Porrentruy (or even both), you can look forward to an amazing experiences. As well as the chance to witness world-class ice hockey, you can also expect meaningful work and interesting encounters with the other volunteers. All volunteers will get first-hand experience of a professional sports event, a clothing package and free food during their deployment. There are roles available in the following areas: logistics, services, marketing, sport, media and special services.
