The Swiss Ice Hockey Federation has registered defender Noah Delemont as 25th and last player to its U20 national team roster at the 2022 IIHF World Junior Championship.
The Swiss travelled to Edmonton with 26 players but didn’t register Delemont previously due to a small injury he had sustained in an exhibition game. Delemont was declared fit to play and was announced to be in the line-up for tonight’s game against the United States.
Forward Joel Marchon, who was also practising with the team as unregistered player, will thus not be registered for the tournament and travel back to Switzerland.
With the addition of Delemont all teams at the World Juniors have a full roster except Sweden, which has one open spot for a skater.
