Days with two games: 14:00-24:00
Days with three games: 11:00-24:00

For the final round on Saturday, 28th and Sunday, 29th May the Fan Zone will open two hours before the game starts. The games of the final round will be shown also at the Mall of Tripla Fan Zone in Helsinki.

All the games of the championship will be shown in both Fan Zones.

More detailed schedules of the Fan Zones will be published on our social media channels on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter @2022iihfworlds.

The Fan Zone in Helsinki is located in the Mall of Tripla.

The Official Fan Zones will be the second-best place to be during the 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship: if one can’t make it to the arenas, the Official Fan Zones in both cities, Tampere and Helsinki, are the places to be, to watch the games and enjoy the atmosphere. The Official Fan Zone in Helsinki will be the world’s biggest of its kind, and in Tampere fans get to submerge themselves into the atmosphere right after getting off the train.

The Official Fan Zones will open at least one hour prior to the first game of the day. The event program is plentiful and there are things to do and experience long after the evening game has ended. There will be screens to watch all the games and cheer with other hockey fans.

The Official Fan Zones offer also different kinds of events outside the game schedule: magicians, musicians, DJs, the Official Mascot Miracleo and ice hockey stars.

”Right from the beginning, we’ve wanted the 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship to be as inclusive as possible and offer experiences to a wide audience. If you can’t make it to the arena, you can still truly enjoy the World Championship atmosphere, at accessible and free Official Fan Zones that are open for everyone,” said Heikki Hietanen, General Secretary for the Local Organizing Committee.

Meet Miracleo Lion at the Official Fan Zones

The lion mascot appears in the colours of the northern lights according to the “Making Miracles” theme of the tournament. Miracleo will cheer with ice hockey fans in the arenas, the Official Fan Zones and various events before and during the 2022 IIHF World Championship.

“According to the theme of the 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship, Miracleo reminds us that each of us can make small miracles every day in the spirit of community, fun and sustainability, which are the values of the 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey World Campionship,” said Heikki Hietanen, General Secretary for the 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey World CHampionship Organizing Committee.
