- ORGANIZER
Finnish Ice Hockey Association, Veturitie 13 H, 00240 Helsinki, afterwards ”the Organizer”, organizes a draw for the 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship finals at Tampere on 29
th of May, afterwards “the Draw”.
- TERMS OF PARTICIPATION
Anyone over 18 years can participate in the Draw, excluding the Organizer’s employees and other related personnel who have been in charge of the Draw.
By participating in the Draw, participants are committed to follow the rules.
- AWARD FOR THE DRAW
The award of the draw is to win two tickets for the 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship finals at Tampere on 29
th of May. The Organizer has the exclusive right to decide the number of awards drawn. The award cannot be converted to money and its monetary value is 305 € (euros) per ticket and 610 € (euros) in total per award.
- GDPR
The personal data of the participants will be processed according to the terms of the Data Protection Act. The persons who have granted the marketing authorization and participated in the draw will be added in the Organizer’s direct marketing register. The personal data of persons who have given their consent in connection with the draw may be used and disclosed to the IIHF for direct marketing purposes in accordance with the Data Protection Act. The contact details provided in connection with participation will also be used to contact the winner and to provide the possible award.
By participating in the Draw, the participants agree that they may receive information via email in regard to the Draw and ticket sales. By participating, the participants accept that they may receive information about the upcoming 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship from the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). Participant information will be processed in accordance with the
International Ice Hockey Federation’s (IIHF) Privacy Policy.
- DETAILS OF THE DRAW
The Organizer has the exclusive right to decide the number of awards drawn. The award winner agrees that video and image material will be taken from the event and agrees to the use and distribution of this material by the Organizer in marketing for the next two calendar years.
The Organizer is in charge of the lottery tax. The award is tax-free for the winner.
- TIME OF PARTICIPATION
Participation to the Draw starts on 1.12.2021 and ends on 5.1.2022 at 23.59.
Participation takes place on Ticketmaster and Lippu.fi sites by buying at least 1 (one) day ticket to the games played in Tampere and Helsinki. The purchase transaction has to be complete and fully paid before the end of the participation time. One person may participate in the draw as many times as they wish by buying day tickets.
- NOTIFICATION TO THE WINNER
The Draw will take place on 7.1.2022 amongst everyone who has bought a ticket during the time of the campaign. The Organizer informs the winner via email latest by 10.1.2022 when the winner will get more information on how to redeem the tickets. The award is personal and cannot be transferred to a third party.
- RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ORGANIZER
The organizer’s responsibility in the Draw is limited to the number and value of the award mentioned within these terms. Participants in the Draw will indemnify the Organizer and other partners of the draw from any damage caused or alleged to have been caused by participating in this draw. For example, the Organizer is not responsible for any problems related to telecommunication connections when participating in the Draw, or for costs arising from participation, redemption or use of the award, or for the events beyond the Organizer’s control, which may affect the use of the award.
- MODIFICATION AND CANCELLATION OF THE DRAW
The organizer reserves the right to modify the terms or, if necessary, cancel the Draw for a justified reason. Such changes will be announced on the 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship (IIHF) website.
- REJECTION OF DRAW PARTICIPATION
The Organizer reserves the exclusive right to reject a participant in the Draw if a person is found to fraudulently attempt to influence the implementation of the Draw.
