The IIHF will launch a new streaming platform to provide viewers greater access to live and on-demand ice hockey content across all IIHF tournaments.
IIHF.TV will allow all ice hockey fans around the world to follow their favorite team and players with ice hockey content throughout the season, both live and on-demand. The joint collaboration will see Infront, IIHF’s exclusive media and marketing partner, take charge of the streaming solution whilst Sportway Media Group will cover production for lower division tournaments.

It will become the home of the IIHF’s championship program with up to 600 ice hockey games per season: World Men’s and Women’s, including Under-18 and Under-20 (World Juniors), from the top tier to all lower division tournaments. The content will be made available via a subscription model and supporters will get a chance to watch live IIHF tournament games when there is no rights-holder (for example, TV broadcaster) in the respective territory.
The live coverage on IIHF.TV will start on 7 April with the 2025 IIHF Ice Hockey Women's World Championship Division II, Group A, followed by the 2025 IIHF Women's World Championship on 9 April, and all other upcoming IIHF tournaments in the future.
“The IIHF is delighted to offer access to its new platform to fans around the world. IIHF.TV will also make our sport known in regions where it is not traditionally present, guaranteeing it greater visibility and globality. This vision of ice hockey extending its reach everywhere in the world fits perfectly with the IIHF's ICE 26 strategy. This is a great step forward for our organisation,” said Luc Tardif – President of the IIHF.
“The launch of IIHF.TV marks a new opportunity for international ice hockey to grow and welcome new fans on a global scale with a digital home of hockey. Easily accessible content, live and on-demand streaming and flexible subscriptions will help us to reach untapped audiences,” said Amikam Kranz, Senior Vice President Media, Betting & Technology at Infront.
“Sportway is honored and proud to be a production partner of the IIHF in delivering a variety of lower division tournaments. This partnership will empower the IIHF to modernize its media services on such tournaments, ensuring that ice hockey fans around the world enjoy the very best video content the sport has to offer.” said Daniel Franck, CEO of Sportway Media Group.
