A few months ago 80 organizations from many sports joined forces for the United Through Sports Virtual Youth Festival that also included ice hockey players from our members in India and Thailand among the ambassadors and participants with the opening ceremony hosted virtually in the Thai capital of Bangkok.
The festival themed “One Spirit One Heart” was run for several days with hundreds of young athletes competing remotely in Max Fit, Aero Fit, Talent, Inclusive Sport and the Unified Fitness Challenge and joining a five-day education program.
Thai ice hockey player Nakrit Sutivijitho recently received good news from the organization citing his truly outstanding ambassador video contribution and based on his performance he was chosen as one of the winners of the Ambassador Award.
The 15-year-old is already part of the Thai U20 national team and hopes he can help his country move a step forward in the sport he loves. Here’s his video and why he loves ice hockey:
