Slovak player Frantisek Dej has been issued a one-game suspension by the ad-hoc Disciplinary Panel at the 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 World Championship for violating IIHF Official Playing Rule 59 (Cross-Checking), which occured at 50:16 in the 3rd period of Game #27 (USA v. SVK) on 29.04.2023.

Dej will miss today's bronze medal game between Slovakia and Canada.
