Werk Arena
Werk Arena, a newly build arena located in Trinec, was constructed not for the purpose of hosting ice hockey games only, but for many other cultural or sports events as well. For example, the 2016 Davis Cup quarter-finals between Czech Republic and France took place in Werk Arena.
A modern area with the capacity of 5,400 seats the home of HC Ocelari Trinec, an ice hockey club displaying a huge potential, which won the Czech top-tier league title in 2011.
Among its most famous players are Roman Cechmanek, Milos Holan, Michal Rozsival, Martin Havlat, Viktor Ujcik, David Moravec or Vaclav Varada, who is head coach of Ocelari Trinec now. Next to the modern stadium, there is a Mini Werk Arena – a practice hall which mainly serves youth ice Hockey teams.
