The Norwegian Ice Hockey Association announced that Mats Rosseli Olsen will leave the Norwegian national team at the 2019 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship due to injury.
Rosseli Olsen suffered a knee injury in yesterday’s game against the Czech Republic. Today’s MRI showed that the injury is not as bad as initially suspected but that he won’t be able to play any more games at the tournament due to an injury of the ligaments.
Rosseli Olsen will not be replaced as Norway already registered a full roster including three goaltenders, eight defencemen and 14 forwards.
